Home Care

The idea for LumaCare was borne out of necessity. The company’s founder was experiencing the frustration that many baby boomers currently face with aging parents – where do you find good, personal, in home care for your elderly parent? Hearing the stories of mistreatment of the elderly by caregivers, she did not feel comfortable using a typical agency to find a companion/aide for her father. Instead she used her personal network to find a referral.

LumaCare recognizes that by leveraging its established referral network and by conducting extensive interviews of prospective care providers a better match can be made between clients and caregivers. Our goal is to provide each client with the comfort that they or their parent is being taken care of by a professional caregiver who has been selected based on their skills and client compatibility. In addition, LumaCare is committed to keeping our clients informed. We provide weekly updates detailing meals, activities, and other items of note.
